About Me.

Sarah Why is the the owner of The Good Food Clinic Australia, an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Fertility Dietitian,  and Credentialed Eating Disorder Dietitian. 

Sarah started working in the fertility space after years of supporting people through Eating Disorder Recovery to nourish their bodies with nutrition. It wasn't long before noticing the link between certain women's health conditions, the impacts on fertility and disordered eating.

Improving your Diet and relationship with food starts before conception

Conception and pregnancy can be an intense time in your life and the importance of eating a healthy diet can be enough to cause feelings of guilt, regret, self-doubt and unnecessary food avoidance. 7-10% of pregnant women report having an Eating Disorder but this does not capture the bigger picture. Trying to nourish your body whilst juggling poor body image, and second-guessing how much you should be eating can create a stressful perinatal period.

Sarah provides consultations at a time when nutrition not only supports your health through conception and pregnancy but also post-partum and your child's health.

Working with individuals to meet their health goals based on their lifestyle and values. Advanced communication skills are used to build effective relationships with the values of the individual in mind at all times.

Outcomes  focused

The approach to meet the health goals using evidence-based, practice tailored to the individuals needs. Motivational interviewing, stages of change and the understanding of cognitive behaviour therapy are the foundations of my practice.
